Death.
A constant reminder to those who are granted more time on this Earth that we will perish one day.
A constant reminder that our time on this Earth is temporary.
A constant reminder that you will take nothing with you to the grave but your deeds.
A constant reminder that to Allah you belong and to Allah you will return.
A constant reminder that we should live to please Him and not His creations.
A constant reminder that we are not immortal nor invincible.
A constant reminder that death does not discriminate and will take anyone at anytime regardless of age, gender, class, religion, appearance, pious, or not.
A constant reminder that we can be here one second and facing our Lord the next.
Let’s strive to be the best we could in terms of character and actions so that we may be among those who are granted peace within our graves and the blessing of entering Jannah, insha’Allah.
