Often when making istikhaara (especially when it comes to marriage), we find ourselves leaning towards an answer that Allah will grant us that spouse. But when it does not come to pass, we feel as though Allah did not give us what was best for us because He didn’t give us what we wanted, leaving us confused.

Remember, Allah will always choose what’s best for us if we ask Him sincerely. Our minds are limited in understanding, so we do not know the future. Placing our complete trust in Allah for all our affairs guarantees that we will be happy even if it means we are require to show a little bit of patience in the beginning!
