so I know many of you (whether Muslims, Atheist, Christian, etc) are willing to be extra supportive here on tumblr and I’ve decided that for my MSA’s board, I would love to have your faces on the center of it. 

Yes, your faces. 

Instead of writing information that no one will have time to read, I thought that posting a few pictures would be a much better idea. If you have no idea what poster board or MSA ish I’m talking about, look at my previous posts.

If you’re up for it, here are the guidelines:

• hold up a sign (as big or small as you want, so long as it can be read)
• a motivational quote written on your palm is allowed
• a clear picture in which your message can be read clearly.
• your face does not need to be shown, but it would be great if people can identify your gorgeousness. 

specific details for those interested: 

• for Muslim women (in hijab or not):  that says something along the lines of “I am a Muslim, and I believe in peace,” or “I am a Muslim woman who believes in feminism.” Be creative. Be to the point. Be lovely. 
• If not of the Islamic faith: something along the lines of “I’m an Atheist, but I support my Muslim friends,” or “I’m Christian, but I own a copy of the Quran.” 
• For Muslim brothers: anything along the lines of (but not limited to) “I’m a Muslim and I condemn misogyny” or “I am a brother from Kansas, and I support the MSA of SJC”
• anyone who is interested in general: if you’re interested in providing an inspiring quote that would promote peace, tolerance, and/or coexistence, do it. Also, if you’re interested in doing something like “I’m from Delaware, and I support SJC’s MSA,” that would be awesome.

• Tuesday, August 28, afternoon at 3:00pm EST.
• Even though I was raised among Arabs, my promptness is NOT Arab timing. When I mean 3:00, I mean 3:00 (i still love ma arabs doe).
