What if Sins carried a smell?

Alhamdulillah..

I saw a friend recently putting this as his status on FB, and it set me thinking. I asked myself, what will happen if the sins we committed and is committing emits a foul smell?

Surely we would be the most foul-smelling creatures in this world.. How would life be when we walked around and people could smell the sins we carry..? How dirty our souls are..

Praises be to Allah, the most Magnificent. He brought us to a level in this world where we are raised among other creatures. Where He allowed us not to be humiliated as we walk on His land. Could you ever imagine how life would be if He permitted sins to carry an odour? Definitely there is no hiding of those bad deeds we do behind others and behind close doors.

It is us who always forgets that He has raise us to a certain degree or level above other creations. Yet we are always fooled by the Devil’s whispers and plea. Yet we seldom thank Him. Yet we always forget the blessings He has given us.. 

Allah…Allah.. Forgive us..

And when your Lord said to the Angels, ‘Verily I am going to place a Khaleefah on Earth.’ They said, ‘Will You place therein those who will make mischief and shed blood, while we glorify Your praises and sanctify You.’ He said, ‘I know that which you know not.’ (Qur’aan 2:30)

This definitely serves as a reminder to me, first and foremost and then to my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam out there :) 
We are just dirty souls living in His mercy. May He lead us to the straight path and constantly shower us with His love and Guidance. Ameen!
