unrealistic-awkward-piece-of-art asked: Assalamu'alaikum, sisters & brothers. I'm a soon-to-be freshman in High School in Indonesia. I've been having anxiety attack, bad thoughts, worries, insecurities, and questions that I'm not capable of answering lately. I'm wondering what should I do as a muslim girl to deal with it? I don't wanna start off High School with those sorts of things. So, I really need your help and I'm actually a bit scared. Thank you, Assalamu'alaikum :)
Salaam sister,
the best advice I can ever give to anyone, especially as a Muslim woman, is seek counseling or medical facilities that will help you understand any type of issues you may be psychologically dealing with. I cant stress how important that is, I really cant.
There were moments in my life where i thought that I had no one to turn to because I just felt like there was no one who would be able to understand my troubles. When that happened, I lost sight of Allah. I lost sight of what was most important. And I lost understanding of seeking help. But when I knew that I needed to talk to someone, I sought help, and Alhamdulilah I am better.
Theres nothing in this dunya that will not try to challenge you — this whole life is struggle after struggle. But whats important is that we figure out the tools we need to overcome them, even when we might be doing it alone.
Just remember that Allah is with all of us, especially the most silent of us. Remember that there are centers that are willing to clinically help you; dont be shy in asking for help!
an extensive aspect of identifying as Muslim is simply recognizing that a Muslim, by nature, is an individual that creates and allocates peace.
can we consider our jealousy, our anger, our temper, or our lack of self control things that allocate peace?
when we are on the edge of losing control, we should ask ourselves, will this be evidence of my peacemaking on the day of Judgment? if not, cool down, and take a step back to rethink.
Question: Salam! I’ve been missing some prayers lately and I feel absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t go a day without making sure I prayed all 5 prayers but I don’t know whats happening…I almost feel like im reciting and praying like a robot - no emotions, no heart, no concentration. I know that…
Hello! I’m currently going through a hard time with my faith and mental well being and was wondering if my brothers and sisters in Islam could make a dua for me? :) Thank you!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
When we first stumbled upon the concept of deen, we had this strong urge in us to memorize qur’an. We could not bring our dream to reality but still do hope so. In our research to look for a hifdh madrissah (islamic school), we hopped up to this degree in detailed islamic education called ‘alimiyyah’.
This is an attempt to clarify the concepts of becoming an ‘alimah (islamic scholar), about your queries on taking up this degree along side your job or studies or just your household routine, insha’Allah.
May Allah swt’s help be with us. Rabbi shrahli sadri wa ya sirli amri.
Without Allah’s help, we can not help anyone, not even our own self. When we see misguided people, we can show them the path of guidance, but nothing can force them to tread on that path, except Allah. Do your part and step away. Don’t make people hate Islam by demeaning their entire existence or attacking their self-esteem through non-stop warnings and reminders. Fear Allah because He can turn around our whole life and Imaan in just a seconds.
